Mom and Daughter, Jan and Randa, enjoy a sunny

outing on Easter weekend at Cowlitz Community

Farmers Market. Goats Milk Soap, a tomato plant

Children and adults enjoy the sights and sounds of

the Market.  Kerry and his 'bigger than life' companion,

'TANK' is just a youngster. He is a 16 month old Giant,  Longhaired  Alaskan Malumute that attracts a crowd

just about every Saturday around lunch time.  At a   mere

160 pounds, TANK still has some growing to do!

Many folks came out on the second day of market to enjoy a pleasantly warm, mild day.

 Whipple Family   Miracle demonstration   shopper

The Whipple Family of Kelso, found strawberry plants for their garden. Terry Miracle shows a customer that a crooked stem does not mean a less vigorous plant, as this skeleton of the stem of a cabbage from 2010 demonstrates.  And an unidentified shopper studies varieties offered before making a selection for his garden.

A multi-talented musician, Longview resident FRED CARTER plays acoustic guitar and selections from a wide variety of artists. His sizable collection of easy listening music will entertain you as you walk through the market on Saturday mornings.  An hour of acoustic Beatles' music is one of his most popular performances.  Look for Fred to be at the Market often.  Fred also serves as the accountant for CCFM.
